On the runways’ this season older fashion statements grace the runways once again. Elder statements such as the high hems of flood pants, turtlenecks invented in the 19th century, marble (yes marble) inspired designs, and collars that stand on their own.
In the past it was one of the worst fashion statements, but today it is known as fall 2008 hottest fashion trend. Trendsetter designers Gianfranco Ferre, Neil Barrett, Etro, and Yves Saint Laurent stiffened collars with light fabrics, while iconic designers Emporio Armani and Louis Vuitton said heaver fabrics will do. I don't know about you, but I think these collars deserves a standing ovation.

I love the turtlenecks, but I'm still not too sure about the flood pants. They really are not doing it for me.
I feel the same way, turtlenecks can be great, but flood pants, that can be hard to pull off! I also like the marbeling, that is pretty cool!
